Wade Redden scored 4 minutes and 52 seconds into the first period to set TEAM CANADA on the way to a 5-1 thrashing of Germany in Torino yesterday. Further goals from the Av’s Joe Sakic, Simon Gagne, Dany Heatley and Shane Doan capped a great display by the favourites. Team USA had better luck than their previous match with a 4-1 win over Kazakhstan.
